About

What it is

A running record of the 2026 BC general election: who holds each seat, who is running where, every public poll, every policy the parties announce, and the news. Every entry names its source.

Two tiers
confirmedThe official record: the Legislative Assembly’s register and Elections BC.
reportedCredible media, or the party itself, until the official record catches up.
How it updates

The Assembly register is read every ten minutes, the news and the parties’ own channels every half hour, X every two minutes. A seat change publishes after three reads of the register. The record, leaders and candidates are checked by a person. Policy announcements post from the parties’ own channels, in their words.

Sources

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (the register and members’ portraits), Elections BC (candidates, and past results through DataBC), the parties’ own websites and accounts, 338Canada’s seat projection by Philippe J. Fournier, and the outlet named on every news item.

Visits

Counted anonymously by Umami on analytics.gremble.io (no cookies, no personal data, Do Not Track honoured) and by Cloudflare Web Analytics on this domain. Pages count outbound clicks by host, and which member cards, filters and tabs are used, never who. This browser keeps the time of your last visit in its own storage to show what changed.
